Meredith Salenger

Salenger was born and raised in Malibu, California. Salenger enjoyed performing before her family and close friends while she was young. In the midst of her eight she was taken by her mother to her very first class in acting. In John Huston's film Annie in which she was the role of a minor character in which she was classified as being a "singing and dancing orphan". Salenger played a variety of TV ads. Salenger's debut starring role came as a character in her role in the Disney movie The Journey of Natty Gann costarring John Cusack and Ray Wise which was the first US film to earn the coveted gold prize from the Moscow Film Festival. Salenger was also named "Best Actress in Drama" from the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. In the following four movies by the time she was eighteen years old such as A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon and A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, she quit Hollywood and went to Harvard to pursue her studies.
